SEAN LOUIS KELLY founded Forman Makes a Movie in 2016 during his tenure as the Film and Video teacher. Before arriving at Forman School, he graduated with a degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, then worked in film & television production in New York City for a year before pivoting to education. He developed Forman Makes a Movie to create a filmmaking program that operated similar to theater, as in providing a dedicated period of time each year for students to produce large-scale film projects. After six years and six amazing movies, Sean was inspired to focus on his own filmmaking passions and has since moved on from Forman, but remains a dedicated contributor and cheerleader.
VINCENT MORRONE joined Forman as a Film and Video Teacher in August 2021 and is the current director for Forman Makes a Movie. He brings over ten years of experience as a filmmaker and educator with expertise in scriptwriting, directing, and post-production. Prior to Forman, Vincent taught screenwriting, directing, and editing at the School of Creative and Performing Arts in New York, NY. He also worked as a videographer and editor with Castle Hill Pictures, a production company. Vincent also leads the Live Streaming and Video Editing team.
